Dog agility is a canine sport that involves an obstacle course, inspired by equestrian courses, where the dog must complete the obstacles in the specified order.
In this course, the handler must follow the dog, communicating with commands and guiding it throughout the course.
According to the FCI-Fédération Cynologique Internationale (International Canine Federation) regulations, dog agility is a discipline open to all dogs, where they navigate various obstacles aimed at showcasing the pleasure and agility of the animal in working with its handler.
The course consists of several "stations" that promote the animal's calmness and concentration, helping the dog to improve motor coordination and become more attuned to its body.
